At «Mile Logistics», we are proud to have completed the important task of delivering a rare medical drug, intended for the treatment of a child with a rare, severe disease. This transportation highlights the importance of integrating innovative methods into logistics, especially in the field of medicine.
Logistics solution
Transportation was organized using refrigerated trucks with constant temperature control, which is a key factor in the transportation of such goods. To ensure stable transportation conditions, we checked the temperature every 4 hours, so the drug was delivered without loss of quality. It was one of the most responsible transportation, even despite the small weight of the cargo of 10 kg.
The importance of the drug and the speed of delivery
After careful calculations, drawing up a personalized route taking into account the characteristics of the drug, we ensured its transportation in just 72 hours. Efficiency has become a key factor. Indeed, according to statistics, 2 out of 10 patients with a rare diagnosis may face deterioration if treatment is not started in a timely manner. In this case, the little patient got a chance to recover precisely thanks to the express delivery of the medicine.
It is important to note that this medical product was manufactured and transported to order specifically for a specific child, so we provided completely individual transportation conditions.

Given the rarity of the child’s disease and the high cost of such drugs, each such transportation becomes an integral part of the treatment.
